CURSO:CULTIVO DE TEJIDOS VEGETALES TRADUCCION:PLANT TISSUE CULTURE SIGLA:AGC3672 CREDITOS:10 MODULOS:04 CARACTER:OPTATIVO TIPO:CATEDRA CALIFICACION:ESTANDAR PALABRAS CLAVE:CULTIVOS, VEGETALES, TEJIDOS NIVEL FORMATIVO:MAGISTER I.DESCRIPCIÓN DEL CURSO Este curso profundiza en las tecnicas y procedimientos de laboratorio utilizados en el cultivo in vitro de celulas, organos y/o plantas completas, como herramienta para micropropagacion, propagacion rapida de clones, eliminacion de virus y enfermedades, produccion de haploides, aislamiento y utilizacion de protoplastos, cultivo de embriones, produccion de fitoquimicos, ingenieria genetica, mutacion y seleccion celular, produccion de semillas sinteticas y estudios basicos de anatomia, desarrollo, fisiologia y nutricion vegetal. Se entregan las bases teorico-practicas para el cultivo de celulas individuales; cultivo de suspension de celulas, cultivo de semillas; cultivo de callo. II.RESULTADOS DE APRENDIZAJE 1.Conocer e integrar los conocimientos de quimica y fisiologia de plantas a sistemas de produccion in vitro. 2.Comprender y aplicar las tecnicas de asepsia al cultivo de plantas in vitro. 3.Conocer, evaluar y analizar criticamente las caracteristicas de crecimiento de especies vegetales en condiciones artificiales y asepticas de crecimiento. III.CONTENIDOS 1.Historia del cultivo de tejidos y celulas vegetales. 2.Resumen de las tecnicas de Micropropagacion. 3.Introduccion y definicion de conceptos relacionados al Cultivo de Tejidos in vitro. 4.Formulacion del medio de cultivo. 5.Propagacion de meristemas pre-existentes. 6.Propagacion de tejidos no meristematicos. 7.Embriogenesis somatica. 8.Eliminacion de fitopatogenos de plantas infectadas. 9.Produccion de compuestos secundarios. 10.Aislacion y uso de protoplastos. 11.Produccion y uso de haploides (androgenesis). 12.Rescate de embriones. 13.Mantencion de germoplasma. 14.Variacion genotipica y fenotipica en cultivos de tejidos in vitro. 15.Produccion y oxidacion de taninos y otros hidroxifenoles (pardeamiento). 16.?Vitrificacion? de tejidos.
