I. DESCRIPCION

Este curso presenta el marco teorico y conceptual sobre el bienestar social, economico y psicologico de las personas a lo largo del ciclo de vida. Se revisan y discuten los principales instrumentos de medicion de bienestar chilenos e internacionales. Ademas se discuten los principales desafios metodologicos en el estudio de los determinantes sociales del bienestar sicologico, fisico y financiero. 


II. OBJETIVOS

1. Comprender los principales desafios y herramientas en la conceptualizacion y medicion del bienestar social, psicologico, economico y fisico.

2. Reconocer las especificidades asociadas a la medicion del bienestar en las diferentes etapas del ciclo de vida.

3. Evaluar criticamente las fortalezas y debilidades de la evidencia empirica sobre determinantes sociales de la felicidad, salud e ingresos en etapas mas avanzadas de la vida.

2. Medicion del bienestar: indicadores objetivos y subjetivos y aportes interdisciplinarios

3. Medicion de la felicidad y la satisfaccion vital

4. Medicion de transiciones y trayectorias vitales

5. Principales encuestas de bienestar y adulto mayor en Chile y el mundo


IV. METODOLOGIA

- Clases expositivas.
- Discusion de articulos de investigacion.


V. EVALUACION

- 2 controles (analisis de articulos)             : 50% 
- 1 trabajo aplicado (analisis de instrumentos)   : 50%
