DESCRIPCION Para la sociologia mirar hacia el pasado es un esfuerzo por entender el presente. Mas aun, esta disciplina frecuentemente busca explicar transformaciones sociales a gran escala cuyas raices estan en el pasado, lo que requiere ir mas alla de eventos historicos especificos. En este curso exploraremos los metodos para realizar esto de la manera mas fructifera, cubriendo temas de dise?o metodologico, tecnicas, uso de fuentes, etc. II. OBJETIVOS 1. Comprender procesos historicos como sociologicamente relevantes para explicar el presente. 2. Aproximarse a la sociologia historica como metodo de investigacion sociologica. 3.
