Aborda conceptos como democracia, justicia social, conciencia critica, privilegio y empoderamiento, aplicados a contextos de diversidad cultural. El curso contempla las metodologias incorporadas por esta perspectiva; la investigacion accion participativa, y ofrece a los estudiantes la oportunidad de dise?ar una investigacion a partir de esta perspectiva. II.OBJETIVOS DE APRENDIZAJE 1.Analizar la escolarizacion formal y sus alternativas a partir de conocimientos sociologicos y de pedagogia critica. 2.Comparar realidades escolares contemporaneas de diferentes paises considerando el analisis de aspectos teoricos y empiricos del ambito de la educacion y la teoria critica. 3.Valorar la contribucion teorica de Paulo Freire en el desarrollo de nuevas miradas sobre la educacion en contextos de diversidad cultural. 4.Dise?ar investigacion de accion participativa acorde a la perspectiva de la teoria critica en contextos de diversidad cultural.
