DESCRIPCION En este curso, los estudiantes se familiarizaran con aquellos dise?os y metodos, cuantitativos y cualitativos, de mayor uso en la investigacion clinica y psicoterapeutica. Se espera que al finalizar el curso los estudiantes esten en condiciones de entender los metodos descritos en publicaciones cientificas y tengan una comprension general que posteriormente les permita profundizar en alguna estrategia metodologica especifica que requieran para desarrollar sus trabajos de grado. II. OBJETIVOS General 1. Conocer y comprender los dise?os y metodos de investigacion mas relevantes aplicados en la investigacion en psicologia clinica y psicoterapia. Especificos: - Dimension cognitiva: 1. Evaluar criticamente el conocimiento y los hallazgos de la investigacion en psicologia clinica y psicoterapeutica. 2. Conocer y comprender los dise?os y metodos de investigacion mas relevantes aplicados en la historia de la investigacion en psicologia clinica y psicoterapia. 3. Identificar y comprender los metodos cuantitativos y cualitativos ligados a objetivos especificos de la investigacion en psicologia clinica y psicoterapia. 4. Analizar criticamente los metodos de estudios presentados en articulos cientificos en funcion las problematicas, objetos y campos de estudio definidos en el contexto de la psicologia clinica y la psicoterapia. - Dimension instrumental: 1. Aplicar el conocimiento metodologico al analisis de los resultados obtenidos por distintas formas de investigacion clinica y psicoterapeutica. 2. Realizar un dise?o de investigacion en un topico de relevancia para la investigacion en psicologia clinica o psicoterapia. 3. Comunicar y difundir conocimiento teorico, metodologico y tecnico. - Dimension actitudinal: 1. Evaluar criticamente la investigacion en psicologia y capacidad para guiarse por el conocimiento cientifico en el desarrollo academico y profesional. 2. Demostrar conocimiento cientifico en el ejercicio academico y profesional. 3. Reflexionar y actuar eticamente en el ambito de la investigacion clinica y psicoterapeutica. 4. Historia de la investigacion en psicologia clinica y psicoterapia. 1.1 Dise?os y metodos cuantitativos predominantes en estudios de trastornos psicologicos y psiquiatricos. 1.1.1 Estudios epidemiologicos. 1.1.2 Estudios de comparacion de tratamientos. 1.2 Panoramica de los instrumentos clinicos de relevancia mundial en la investigacion del area. 1.2.1 Validacion de instrumentos clinicos. 1.2.1.1Etapas del dise?o y adaptacion de instrumentos. 1.2.1.2 Etapas de la validacion de los instrumentos: Topicos relacionados a la confiabilidad Topicos relacionados a la validez. 1.2.2 Instrumentos validados en Chile. 2. Estudios cualitativos en psicologia clinica: dise?os y metodos. 2.1 Estudios sobre experiencias subjetivas y modelos de enfermedad. 2.1.1 Dise?os de estudios sobre subjetividad. 2.1.2 Metodos de recoleccion de datos: tipos de entrevista. 2.1.3 Analisis de datos: generacion de categorias de analisis. 2.1.4 Modalidades de presentacion de resultados descriptivos. 3. Dise?os, instrumentos y metodos de analisis de datos en estudios comparativos en psicoterapia. 3.1 Dise?os y metodos para comparaciones de tipos de terapia. 3.2 Estudios clinicos randomizados. 3.3 Meta-analisis de la efectividad de los tratamientos en el campo de la psicologia clinica y psicoterapia. 4. Estudios cualitativos del cambio psicoterapeutico. 4.1 Estudios desde la vision de terapeutas, pacientes y observadores. 4.2 Generacion de modelos comprensivos. 5. Dise?os para la aplicacion de metodos cuantitativos y cualitativos al estudio del proceso psicoterapeutico. 5.1 Dise?os, instrumentos y tipos de analisis para el estudio de la evolucion de la alianza terapeutica. 5.2 Dise?os, instrumentos y tipos de analisis para el estudio de resultados intermedios. 5.3 Microanalisis de sesiones y episodios: comunicacion verbal y no verbal. 5.4 Estudio de caso. 6. Criterios de calidad y consideraciones eticas en la investigacion clinica y psicoterapeutica. IV.
