DESCRIPCIÓN Curso teorico-practico que analiza e interpreta un corpus de novelas escritas en paises de habla inglesa durante el siglo XIX. Otorga especial enfasis tanto a la investigacion de la critica especializada como a la interpretacion personal fundamentada. II.OBJETIVOS 1. Identificar, desde distintas perspetivas, los origenes, forma y desarrollo de la novela del siglo xix. 2. Analizar un corpus representativo de la novela del siglo XIX escrita en lengua inglesa. 3. Analizar la recepcion de las noveles seleccionadas considerando diversos ensayos criticos de las mismas. III. CONTENIDOS 1. El legado de la novela del siglo XVIII. 2. El canon de la novela inglesa y norteamericana del siglo XIX: Autores tales como J. Austen; E. Bronte; Ch, Bronte; K.Chopin, G. Eliot; N. Hawthorne; Melville; M. Twain. IV.
