DESCRIPCION Curso teorico-practico que analizar e interpreta un corpus de novelas contemporaneas escritas en paises de habla inglesa. Ortoga especial enfasis tanto a la investigacion de la critica especializada como a la interpretacion personal fundamentada. II. OBJETIVOS 1. Analizar, desde diferentes perspectivas criticas, un corpus de narrativa contemporanea escrita en lengua inglesa, con especial enfasis en la novela. 2. Estudiar los principales modos y tecnicas de la narrativa del siglo XX y de la novela reciente. 3. Analizar la recepcion del corpus seleccionado considerando diversos ensayos criticos sobre el mismo. III. CONTENIDOS 1. Henry James: tradicion y experimentacion. 2. El modernismo: James Joyce, Virginia Woof y William Faulkner. 3. La diversidad de la novelas posmoderna y contemporanea. Seleccion de autores considerando: formas narrativas, tema culturales, contenidos tematicos variados. Por ejemplo: P. Auster, S. Bellow, A.S.Byatt, S- Cisneros, L. Erdrich, E. Hemingway, S.
