I. OBJETIVOS
- Conocer y apreciar las principales corrientes de la poesia de los paises de habla inglesa.
- Analizar el lenguaje poetico de las obras estudiadas.
- Analizar y comparar diferentes textos poeticos.
- Aplicar los postulados de una o mas corrientes criticas.
II. CONTENIDOS
- La poesia del Siglo XVII al presente. Por ejemplo, romanticismo, clasicismo, poesia
religiosa, poetas metafisicos, poetas trascendentalistas, modernismo, imaginismo, poetas
Beat, etc.
III. METODOLOGIA
- Clases expositivas.
- Analisis de textos
- Trabajo individual y de grupo.
IV. BIBLIOGRAFIA
El profesor que dicte el curso seleccionara el corpus poetico representativo del periodo o
movimiento que se estudie.
La bibliografia secundaria debera considerar el enfoque de la hermeneutica.
