I. OBJETIVOS
- Describir, analizar y comparar los valores del Renacimiento encarnados en el drama y la
poesia de William Shakespeare y sus contemporaneos.
- Estudiar el lenguaje poetico y la estructura dramatica de algunas de las obras principales del
dramaturgo y de sus contemporaneos.
- Analizar la representacion teatral de las obras de Shakespeare y su influencia en la sociedad
renacentista.
- Destacar los valores literarios, esteticos y eticos en la literatura del Renacimiento y su
vigencia en el presente.
II. CONTENIDOS
- Vision del mundo isabelino a traves de una seleccion de escritos de la epoca y sus
interpretaciones actuales.
- Interpretacion de los elementos medievales y renacentistas en el drama.
- Tragedia, comedia, melodrama y romances.
- Seleccion de sonetos.
