I. DESCRIPCION

El curso presentara una revision teorica de este nuevo concepto de ?emprendimiento social? y su estado actual tanto en la literatura como en la practica. Esto, en el marco de su concepcion como herramienta de desarrollo social para enfrentar la pobreza y otras necesidades de comunidades carentes de oportunidades. Se estudiaran casos nacionales e internacionales y se contara con la presencia de destacados emprendedores sociales que compartiran su experiencia, proyectos, obstaculos y desafios frente a la mision de poner la mirada en proyectos con valor social.


II. OBJETIVOS

1. Desarrollar una vision de lo que es y lo que puede lograr el emprendimiento social.

2. Valorar el area como medio de desarrollo profesional.

3. Comprender las diferencias socioeconomicas y de oportunidades de la sociedad actual y el rol de los universitarios y profesionales.

4. Conocer y analizar casos que entreguen ejemplos concretos de posibilidades futuras y de los resultados que se pueden obtener.

5. Conocer experiencias reales de personas que han emprendido este camino y sus logros.

6. Comprender la importancia de que profesionales de calidad se avoquen a los problemas sociales.
